The obvious solution is to move to a single payer system like all other industrialized countries. Of course, that would require our politicians to care more about the citizens of this country than drug companies and big business. Like the UK, who created their universal healthcare system in 1948, while they were still rebuilding from the destruction of World War 2. Statistically, the poorest British person has a longer life expectancy than the richest American. Healthcare is a human right, just like police and fire protection and an education. This bill might be a small step in right direction, since it is about improving the ACA instead of destruction. It is a long shot from what I expect from this great country though.
