It's a tough time and we worry about the future of the airlines. Still, they should refund fees to customers for flights cancelled. Since the flights never took place the airlines shouldn't have spent any of that money. Silly as I may seem, if the airlines just put early payments into some interest-bearing account they would financially benefit even after refunding money to customers. Perhaps the airlines would be justified in charging a small refunding fee, just to help maintain the workforce. These are hard times and we all need to do a bit to help each other.
