Richard is correct! Thee descriptions of these proposed legislations are intentionally misleading (drafted by the Republican majority who want to roll back or obliterate needed regulations and protections) so that those actually in opposition (ie. those who are For keeping the Endangered Species Act in place) wind up voting against their interests and intentions. Be really careful and read the descriptions more than once to fully get what you are saying "yes" to, when what you really want to say is "no"! Always keep in mind who is introducing and supporting a certain piece of regulation, and think, is it really necessary? The Endangered Species Act has been very successful, requires no tampering, and has been accepted by 82% of Conservatives, and overall up to 90% of the American people across the entire political spectrum. The Republican-majority Congress has made it their long-time mission to get rid of it, and other conservation legislation, by hook or by crook! <http://www.biologicaldiversity.org/news/press_releases/2016/wolf-05-24-2016.html> They'll tell you they are "strengthening" the legislation, when what they are actually doing is working to kill it. Permanently!
