Net neutrality is one of the most important things to exist, and because of the FCC that is all in jeopardy. If net neutrality isn’t put back into place the American economy will suffer greatly, and everyone (and that includes people in the government who use computers or the internet) will be negatively affected by this. This isn’t just about kids who don’t want to have slow connections, this isn’t about not wanting to pay for internet, and it isn’t about instant gratification. Net neutrality keeps companies from creating internet fast lanes that only people who can afford them can use, it keeps people’s opinions (of all sides) from being censored, it gives so many people who couldn’t otherwise express concerns or opinions a voice, and it provides a way for people all over the country to connect. If net neutrality isn’t saved and signed into law, all of this crumbles and everyone will be negatively impacted. Government officials, students, children, veterans- anyone who uses the internet. Anyone. Everyone. Please save net neutrality, and please get it proposed as a law if it’s possible. Getting rid of net neutrality helps no one but big companies who want to get as much money as possible out of the hands of people who have no choice.
