Yes. Women and people with periods rely on tampons every month, and the costs are only rising. You wouldn't make people pay for toilet paper, paper towels, or soap in school bathrooms. Why are we singling out people with periods to pay more for something that is just as basic? I realize that pads and tampons cannot be free everywhere (yet), but in schools where the stress of adjusting to a changing body is already high, providing period products is an important part of providing a safe, welcoming environment that sees and supports all of its students.
