The EPA puts restrictions on companies that require it depending on what their operation is. Don't let big business guilt you into thinking that the EPA is a burden on business. Businesses that believe that the EPA is a burden are the same wealthy companies trying to maximize profits by not properly following protocols, disposing of waste, or taking proper environmental precautions when conducting their business. This is particularly an issue in regards to the fracking industry when drilling for natural gas. Oil companies are a particularly big problem in this area as well. The EPA also regulates emissions, which is extremely necessary in reducing air pollution. Without the EPA, who will ensure that businesses take consideration for the environment where ALL of us must live with the consequences if they do not? Disbanding the EPA is a scheme to save money for business, and I cannot support that.
