I didn't know a lot obout the Ex-Im Bank so I did a bit of reading. It seems that this arm of the Executive branch functions to fund pet projects of the rich or influential. Low interest lows to China, Exxon, Enron? Aren't these big huge countries and companies? Should American taxpayers really be obligated to help Exxon (one of the world's worst polluters) and China (supposedly our fiercest competitor)? This just feels wrong and it probably is. Can't we use this money to help environmental or research projects? It supposed to be for projects that have difficulty getting funded but I don't see that in it's history of funding. It's a corrupt entitiy and needs to be shut down.
