The last election cycle made two things immensely clear: 1) a considerable portion of the electorate is in favor of "draining the swamp"; and, 2) the same people in favor of this measure are incapable at some fundamental level of understanding how to go about this process. By imposing term limits on congressional representatives, the voting apathy that undermines so much of America's idealized democratic process can be reduced as it guarantees that there will be a new name on the ballot. The current lack of term limits is a fundamental oversight of the founding fathers, and this is an opportunity to address it.
