The Congressional Review Act (CRA) has little use or purpose in the legislative or regulatory process. While potentially offering some protection against tyrannical capture of congressional committees or regulatory agency, the real power of the CRA is one for which it was never intended - in this case congressional oligarchs working together with a reckless destructive president, without care or concern for the people's majority. Paradoxically, the prevention of a rogue minority is what the rule may have prevented, yet in this set of circumstances has enabled. The CRA should have never become law and should now be stricken. I urge support, endorsement and ultimate passage of SCRAP.
