I love this. While we're at it, let's take "terminating the tax code" literally. In the words of Ron Paul, "When I say 'cut taxes' I don't mean fiddle with the code. I mean abolish the income tax and the IRS and replace them with nothing." Of course as others have pointed out, this absolutely MUST come with a corresponding cut in spending. Otherwise it's just increasing the debt, which is basically a guarantee of higher taxes in the future. But letting individuals and companies keep their money to spend or save as they see fit instead of having it confiscated and wasted by bureaucrats is ABSOLUTELY a step toward liberty for all. I say Yes to this, and I also vote that when the time is up, that we proudly do absolutely nothing and let the whole tax system fall.
