Medical marijuana, or not. It is not a gate way drug, marijuana helps many people with many issues they have, it is much better than drinking or doing other, actual drugs that actually WILL ruin your life. Marijuana doesn't ruin lives, and those who have bad experiences with it probably aren't smoking the right strain or a low thc level. It affects people differently, sure but not one person has ever killed themselves or hurt anyone by smoking marijuana. It can be abused, by being laced with other drugs, maybe that is what makes it seem to be a gateway drug, but in reality it isn't. It helps depression, pain, anxiety, panic attacks, people and children who have seizures/ tourettes, people who are very socially awkward, any problem you can think of, making it a thing where you depend on it, shouldn't happen, but using it for any issue it helps, should happen, it is a lot better than depression meds that often make depression worse, it is a lot better than any pill prescribed to any person, people have actually abused the use of prescription drugs, people have over dosed on them, people get high as hell off of them, is that better than smoking weed? Is being addicted to meds better than weed? Sure you can get addicted to weed, but its better than being addicted to anything else, it calms the nerves, makes you happy, relaxed, hungry as all hell, a little goofy, but nothing insane, weed is actually good for you, otherwise it wouldn't even be used for any medical purpose, nor would it be legal in any state.
