This is redundant. No rum dum govt committee is going to develop ANYTHING that has not already been accomplished through the thousands of millions of dollars over the last 30 plus years researching this very thing. Private research. NIH, universities, American Diabetic Foundation, pharm., have all done the same thing and continue to do it. I know personally that Wake Forest has spent at least the last 20 years researching diabetes. That’s just one university. You expect govt employees who believe science is fake news, who are busy dismantling the regulations to keep our air and water safe and clean, who haven’t provided for children’s health care, who have no belief that the medical community can offer valuable advice about American health care, who want to take health care away from those who need it most, you want those same employees to run this committee, to participate in it and do good? If you do then you are fools. A recommendation was made in last admin to make school cafeteria food healthier, but this admin undid that. Not going to serve kids decent food. Eat all the sugar, carbs, and junk they want. You expect those same employees to do good for American public? Is this “pick a disease and form a committee?” Why not cancer? Why not heart disease? You haven’t done your research or you would know that this committee will not catch up or exceed what the brilliant minds have accomplished. If you have a spare 2 million laying around spend it on a study of gun violence. That would be new. That would be useful. This is redundant.
