If an individual has broken local/state laws, and in addition has violated federal law, he or she should be turned over to the agency placing the hold. ICE is only enforcing federal law. If the law is not agreed with, then change it. Until then, subjects in violation should be required to comply, just the same as those who violate local and state laws are required. We are privileged to be here in the US, and those that are here whether coming for a better opportunity or fleeing some kind of persecution must value that and keep our laws. If they laws are not kept, they should be turned over to ICE in order to have their eligibility to remain in the US reviewed by an immigration judge, or if they have already exhausted their due processed before the Immigration Judge and appellate system, return to their country of citizenship. To continue to condone breaking the law with no accountability is wrong.
