The language is too broad. What determines engagement? How is support defined? An email? Money sent to a relative, since it seems unlikely it could be determined whether the money was spent for individual survival or buying ammunition for a group committing or committed to promoting violence against the US? How are things different in revoking citizenship for an American-born, resident individual versus someone who is confirmed to have left the country or currently living elsewhere? In the case of the former, do we send them to prison or into exile? In the case of the latter, do we revoke passports, deny re-entry, send to prison? If we send everyone to prison, what's the broader impact on the prison system and what about extended family which may in the case of immigrants include American-born young children?
