This is stupid and with some unknown agenda (except we know the Republicans' agenda is to undo all such programs so they can give more tax cuts to the wealthy). First of all, when you hit 65 and are eligible for Medicare, why wouldn't you take the no cost Medicare Part A? It is for hospitalization, not doctors. Doctors are Part B which costs $134/month IF you want it. You don't have to take Part B if you don't want it but why wouldn't you? Where can you get hospitalization and doctor coverage for $134/month? Then you can buy a supplemental policy to cover the 20% Medicare doesn't cover. And you don't have to be collecting Social Security to get any of it. You just have to be 65. I know this because it is exactly what my spouse did for 5 years before he started taking Social Security at age 70. This bill is bad.
