To the nay-Sayers...if we are afraid that making access to higher learning and knowledge free and that it will possibly bring down the quality of the said knowledge or institution providing that knowledge. Then we are concluding that our value isn't in the actual knowledge or spreading of knowledge. Our value is in the profit we can make from that knowledge. Knowledge becomes a commodity or merchandise. Such as real estate or fine dinning is. If that is our thinking? then we need to seriously re-evaluate our values.
