Absolutely. I think that state governments should act on what is popular in that state. Some states, like those in the south, are often deeply religious, in which case the majority opposes abortion, and in places on the coast, especially California and New York, are often more secular and popular vote often favors abortion rights. While I am personally against abortion, I don't think that my views should be what dictates everyone else's. I think that people should be allowed to choose what they believe, whether I agree with it or not. I think that this freedom of expression should not be stifled by a federal regulation, and I think that the popular vote of the state should determine the legality of abortion within that specific state.
