Half of the issues that I ended up learning in my early adult life I wish I had been taught, at least at an introductory level, in my early education.
Between taxes, home economics, and basic life skills, I was left affectively bereft of knowledge that would serve me best in the working world at large. Albeit, I had the most amazing performing arts teachers, algebra teachers, history teachers, that have enriched my life in the way I think and see the world. However, I would've enjoyed, and benefited from, a more practical education in things every day adults have to experience.
