The ACA has its issues, but I don't think scrapping the whole thing is the smart thing to do here. It is a complicated law and a complicated system. The ACA has made improvements and caused problems too. It is a incremental step toward a truly healthy and affordable system of care for all. It is imperfect and shiuld be refined. Congress should build on that foundation. But the AHCA demolishes the entire thing with no clear path toward the goals of healthcare policy: a healthier population!
