My father served in Korean War and many Americans died in defense of Korea. It astounds me when ppl opine about our military presence all over the world is a bad investment. Americans’ sacrifice, security of ally, still unreleased remains of some of our soldiers from war, and the value of listening posts and presence in that area of world. Look past nose, please. We are world power whose security depends on our world wide presence. Good for intelligence acquisition and advance notification of hot spots that may produce threats to our security. Whine about things that serve no purpose like soybean farmer’s welfare payments due to China tariffs. Protecting ally while having eyes/ears open for possible threats from russia/China is a good thing for long term American security.
