First responders already put their lives at risk every day, climbing into an overturned vehicle to start an IV, rushing into a burning building to get to an unresponsive victim. And they do that for total strangers knowing they may one day give their own life in exchange. That's just part of the job. It's a risk you willing take in order to be there when people need you. They even go in knowing someone may be intentionally trying to kill them. But, this law being in place, and used, MIGHT make someone have a second thought. Even if it saves one first responder, it's worth it. Think how many others might be saved by saving that one person.
