The security of our nation should be the USA's top priority. Then we can think about accepting refugees who've been throughly vetted. We don't want another terrorist attack to happen. Why should we unnecessarily risk lives? We're not denying them access to this country. I know only a small percentage are trying to gain access for nefarious purposes, but it's that small percentage that we need to worry about. If we have a chance to prevent an attack then we need to do everything in our power to stop it. Also this bill should be applied to all refugees, displaced persons, and those seeking asylum and not just ones coming from Syria, and the Middle East. We don't need another horrible lapse in judgement as we did with the Japanese during World War Two.
