Congress people are not medical professionals and do not have a right to stick their nose in the privacy of veterans. There are established ways for these individuals to data in veterans' issues already; that's how they know there's a VA problem to begin with. Congress needs to support the VA in the endeavor of fixing itself, much of which can be done financially. Congress is too partisan and veterans definitely do not need congress people dictating what interventions are appropriate and how they are done. That's a medical providers' scope of practice.
