The TSA has been in airports for over 15 years. DHS/TSA has had plenty of time to show their effectiveness. Congress should therefore shut down this failed program and turn security over to the states who then can contract out security at airports. If the contractor fails to meet his contract, then change security companies. There needs to be a three way commitment between Airlines, Airport and the state. The only thing the TSA has done we'll is spending TAXPAYER payers money. And why should I pay my fair share when I drive. Never saw a TSA security person at the gas pump.
