Voting is a right, but it's one of the most important civic duties a CITIZEN can participate in. In today's day and age, it should be simple for the government to verify identity and citizenship prior to voting. To say that it places an undue burden on citizens is laughable. Those who oppose this action do so in the guise of fairness, when in all reality, they oppose it because they know they'll lose votes. It's not hard to vote now, and it won't be hard to prove citizenship to vote in the future.
