We continue to live in a world where terrorists can be anywhere and chemical weapons can be easily used as weapons. This law helps protect us from terrorists and other bad actors getting access to these chemicals.
My only issue is that it should be for 5 years, not 2. There is nothing I can see that the law needs Congresses to reform it. Let Homeland Security manage its improvements and ask for money as needed. (That’s how it should work anyway) If Congress focused on things they are responsible for, like immigration, real tax reform, deficit reduction, etc. We would all be better off.
