My husband and I work on tribal reservations in Southeastern CT. Two different tribes that both own and operate casinos and employ over 8,000 people. I would estimate that around 90% of their employees are not tribal. As it stands now they have to follow federal labor laws. It would not be fair to the workers that are not tribal, we can not vote on the tribes government councils. They could change the labor laws and the non tribal workers would have no recourse.
