As a young woman who has been taking birth control pills since the age of 16, I have continuously decided that I do not want a child, nor am I financially or emotionally prepared to take on the responsibility of another human being. I am making informed choices with regards to my body and my life. As a college graduate with a degree in the sciences I believe in and will continue to advocate for the scientific studies that state that conception is only one very small part of the beginning of a human life. A mass of fertilized cells cannot continue to develop without the incubation and life giving qualities of a woman's uterus. If more value is placed on a collection of unviable cells than is placed on a woman's life we will see an unprecedented set back in the constitutional rights of females. The impact that that this bill could have is devastating. I urge you to vote against S. 2464 and against its sponsor Rand Paul.
