Once again, we select "nay" in protection of the environment, and yet we probably know that House and Senate Republicans will vote in favor of the fossil fuel industry (or any corporation for that matter). This despite the overwhelming support for the environment displayed here. When will elected officials start listening to their voters? More importantly, when will the voters stop selected a candidate just by party and pay more attention to issues? I doubt every Republican voter is against protecting the environment. However, it appears as if every republican elected official is against it in the name of corporate profit/campaign dollars.
