Yes, absolutely. Like it or not we are members of a world-wide community of nations and need to be responsible world-citizens in helping to deal with world-wide consequential issues. The eradication of this pandemic can only occur when it is eradicated everywhere in the world. If this is not done efficiently and equitably, we run the risk of new more potent strains developing elsewhere - and these new strains could well develop new features that our currently promising vaccines cannot stop. It is time for this country to be a world partner in resolving world problems in an equitable and responsible manner. I truly hope we can re-establish our devastated diplomatic corps to regain some of the trust that our country had before the trump experiment.
