This resolution would condemn \"in the strongest terms\" the terrorist attacks in Paris, France on November 13, 2015. The coordinated violence at 6 locations across the city resulted in the loss of at least 129 lives and injuries for at least 430 people. The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has claimed responsibility.

The attacks were the deadliest to have occurred in Europe since the Madrid train bombings of 2004. One American, Nohemi Gonzalez of Long Beach, California was killed in the attacks and several more Americans were injured.

The resolution goes on to detail the statements by political leaders regarding the attacks, including French President Francois Hollande, the Secretary General of NATO, and President Obama. It affirms that the U.S. stands in solidarity with their French allies, and is willing help the French government in bringing the perpetrators of the attack to justice, and respond to the growing threat posed by ISIS.
