This is a decent compromise bill that is mostly the Democratic House putting forth its budgetary priorities. The Speaker knows that this bill will be amended as the process continues. The bill is good in that it focuses on some of the priorities of the citizenry, including additional funds for workforce training and education. Also like the additional diplomatic and security funds so that we can use more non-military tools for our international affairs and upgrade our nuclear maintenance equipment. Dont like the plan to fund a decrease in military personnel. Let's hold that steady while maintaining the military pay raise. This will be worked out in cooperation with the Senate, I'm sure.
