Absolutely NOT! The issue is tax exemption of the organizations that call themselves "religious institutions." It's not about free speech. If they want to keep their exemption it's easy, just don't advocate for or against candidates. They should keep their speech limited to their faith and help the people not candidates for office. I wonder if we haven't really reached the point where ALL churches should pay some taxes (low rate for high income levels), because the mega-churches abuse their tax exemption now. Keep in mind, individuals and leaders of the church are already free to engage in politics, just not speaking on behalf of their church.
