As a concerned scientist, I agree with the Union of Concerned Scientists on this one. Let the experts at the EPA decide which scientific studies are of sufficient quality to support their regulatory actions. Any study that has gone through peer review for publication has already been thoroughly vetted. This bill is an attempt to make it harder for the EPA to take action on climate change and other environmental damage, and to allow Republicans to bury scientific results that they find inconvenient for their political agenda. I do not approve this bill.
