Should Gov’t Whistleblowers be Protected From Retaliation & Have Their Identities Revealed to the Accused?

Trump’s rhetoric has proven that his disregard for US norms would endanger any future whistleblowers if it was required that they be revealed. If other evidence corroborates their allegations, the genesis of the allegations need not be considered.
