Healthcare, in most countries, is a human right. Why should the United States, one of the lost advanced countries in the world, be any different? Yes, the ACA has flaws. But it was a compromise on many levels. The ACA was a step closer to having health care as a right. And healthcare SHOULD be a right, not a privilege for the wealthy. I do not support the ACA's repeal. I do support amending and changing it. For example, a single-payer plan. The ACA has done so much good. Before the ACA, insurers could deny people insurance because of pre-existing conditions. That's simply because the health insurance industry is full of money-grubbers who want to stay rich, not help people. In short, we CANNOT repeal the ACA. We MUST amend it, make it better. Without it, 32 million people will lose their health insurance. I very much hope that Congress votes to keep the Affordable Care Act.
