Absolutely not. We need to know what sort of behavior judges engage in and be able to weigh that versus their ability to be impartial by comparing it to their past judgements. This is not a partisan issue and should not be one. Individuals in Congress must be cognizant of the fact that while judges do have a private life and make important decisions that effect themselves directly, we need to see a record which compares that private behavior with their behavior in the courtroom regarding the laws of our nation to ensure that judges can clearly separate their private behavior from their interpretation of just laws.
