Donald Trump promised that this new administration would champion the working class. We had "competition" in the health care market before Obamacare and it meant that health insurance companies charged ridiculous premiums to insure only the healthy. Now the numerous problems with the affordable care act are being addressed by taking away subsidies to the poorest Americans, assuring that once again they will be unable to afford basic health care, giving tax breaks to the wealthiest Americans and trusting that a free market approach to our health care will benefit the poorest and most vulnerable of our citizenry. I, like many of your constituents, will view your support of the American Health Care Act as a profound betrayal of your commitment to improve health care for working class families and stand up for the "little guy". It is clear that the American Health Care Act benefits the health care industry over the people of this country. Expect angry responses from your district and state in your next election if you support this measure. You better vote "no" we're watching!
