There is only ONE national scenic area in the US and it spans the Columbia River for 60 miles in Oregon and Washington, between Troutdale and The Dallas on the Oregon side and Camas and Goldendale on the Washington side. One "representative" in Oregon is bought and paid for by the Oregon timber industry. The fires aren't even out yet nor do we know the extent of the restoration that will be required to stabilize hillsides along power and transportation corridors, not to mention the natural resource damage, and this guy wants to exploit the region for his timber cronies. Don't be fooled ... follow the money.
