As a country, I believe we need to adapt a "leave no person behind" philosophy. As a nation, we are stronger, more vital and better equipped to deal with challenges when we all pull together rather than counting on the wealthiest-few to direct us. To that end, I endorse all efforts to remove barriers in order to 'level the playing field' and ensure that all of us, rich and poor, have equal opportunity to build our successful lives, have an engaged awareness of issues that affect all of us and to have a successful voice as a citizen of our Nation. To be clear, 'successful' to me, means successful in life's pursuits of happiness and well being; 'successful’ does not mean becoming wealthy, especially by the exploitations of others. The more we educate and inspire our youth, all of our youth, the brighter our future becomes. I am sure that this bill needs some where-as and what-for considerations to get properly put together, but the goals are both timely and very much needed.
