Yes. But more importantly, publicly funded campaigns need to be required. Otherwise, our democracy goes down the drain and laws are literally bought to favor corporations over people. We are seeing it in real time, as even some establishment Democrats refuse to support Universal Healthcare and The Green New Deal despite the American People's overwhelming support for both. Something has to give. Lack of airtime has already ended Richard Ojeda's 2020 campaign, even though he previously served in the military/ as a state senator, in addition to running a very successful 2018 Senate campaign. He did lose, but as a Democrat in WV, he held a very close race compared to what he "should have" in an area that voted overwhelmingly for Trump. Yet, Howard Shultz - who has no credentials- was given center stage simply because he's a billionaire. His only platform was "I'm wealthy, so obviously I'm (hypothetically) running against healthcare for all and personally paying more in taxes. Duh. So, uh yeah. Vote for me." 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
