I think it is dangerous to repeal a healthcare system and replace it with a hastily thrown together alternative. It is not acceptable to have the replacement healthcare system be more expensive for the American people, even if only for a few years, and prevent millions of other citizens from being able to get health insurance. It's nice that the AHCA would keep the major aspects of the ACA, such as maintaining insurance for those with pre-existing conditions... but in that case why not fix the system that is in place and working for many Americans? It's not perfect, but it's much better, in my mind, to amend a system already in place and which has a lot of potential to do good than to rip it out and start from scratch again with a new system that has the same major principles. Please work to convince fellow Senate and House members to focus on repairing the current healthcare system to fit everyone's needs!
