Congress should start being concerned that there are areas, primarily rural and already underserved in many ways, with no real options or competition for insurance or health care options. Congress should stop being concerned with tearing apart the ACA, which is one of the few things that has finally given a glimmer of hope to so many who've never had health care coverage and thus proper health care before. No, the ACA is not even approaching perfect, but it's far better than what we had before and a damn sight better than the AHCA abomination Congress is trying to foist on us to cut taxes for their wealthy friends and family (and donors). If you're really serious about improving health care, delivery, efficiency and cost effective as, then let's start talking seriously about single payer and/or a mixed private/single payer system. Fortunately, we have loads of data since most all other industrial countries already have decades of experience.
