We don't need any more government officials (unelected Beaurocrats) in our system. The Governments (Federal, State and Local) are already overburdened with employees that are almost, if not impossible, to get rid of when their need has gone. At one time, when Government employees were under paid it was necessary to offer incentives for qualified people to enter Governmental service. Those days are gone and we are stuck with people, many of whom are unnecessary, unqualified for the position they hold, and who only work to improve their "importance". All our Governments need a downsizing like our corporations occasionally do. I wired for a major internstionstionsl firm with 30,000 employees in Houston alone and in the early 90's reduced their staff by 10,000 one year and another 5,000 the next. They are currently in the same process again. All major companies do it and the Governments should be able to do so as well.
