I think what is needed are higher standards in order to get a job with the TSA.
In the past I’ve seen sloppy searches, carelessness, and bad attitudes.
They are the first step in keeping the public safe. They must be aware of how vitality important they are, and awarded for service above and beyond. They should also be punished for poor service, poor performance, and bad attitudes.
It is essential that people working in these positions, that don’t pay the highest wages. Know They Are Appreciated.
Studies have shown that most people are dissatisfied with their jobs and leave, not because of money, but because of lack of appreciation
Managers should be trained, to recognize, not just top performers, but also the ones that show up on time every day and do their jobs. An acknowledgment is sometimes more appreciated then even a small pay raise.
To get back to the original question, I think things should stay as they are.
