Do you know Laos is building a dam called Don Sahong dam that is only 1km away from the border with Cambodia on the Mekong River. This dam, if built, will lead to the extinction of Cambodia's Mekong River dolphins, as well as threaten many other endangered and iconic species. It doesn't stop at wildlife threats and permanent damage to the Mekong's ecosystems - it could also deplete fish catch by up to 30%. This has grave impact on Cambodia's food and health security - very serious consequences for this country's people, Nature and wildlife. These are the bad impact to Cambodia people. To take some actions, WWF and some NGOs do a campaign to stop the building of Don Sahong dam by gathering signatures via a global online petition to tell the dam developer Mega First to stop building the dam and look at other better alternatives, because they exist! If you think that the Don Sahong issue is important to you and your friends, please - help to sign the petition link below.
thanks for your care about this issue.
