Mike Meador is working to abolish 'Stand Your Ground' and 'Shoot First' laws

Mike Meador

No man has to right to shoot someone without just cause for at least without reasonable cause of knowing that individual will be harmed. Then and only in those circumstances shall be considered an act of self-defense. And not to seek out an individual to harm. This is murder with intent to kill and should be tried accordingly.

In each of the cases Tryvon Martin and this most recent case, White men are place as the victims. While the incident can not testify because they are deceased. What would happen if a black man shoots a white man first and claims he's the innocent victim? Their isn't any doubt that he would have a speedy trial and conviction of his guilt. This is not justice. It is clear racism.

This campaign matters because their needs to be someway to get it though legislatures that this is not a fair law.
