Halil Osman is working to Turkey değil TÜRKİYE

Halil Osman

The English name Turkey first appeared in the late 14th century, and is derived from Medieval Latin Turchia.
Most people believe English named Turkiye Turkey because is was easier to say it.
It is also known that Bird (Turkey) was named after the country (Turkey) was named. So country came before the bird.

So far I don't know exactly why English called it Turkey instead of Turkiye.

Its about time correct wording is used instead of a bird name.
