As someone who has actually seen this in my school first hand it should be allowed. The biggest argument is that we should protect those who are under 18 from life changing decisions but in a time where people can promote varying types of activism to teens in America the argument invalidates itself. It’s the same for medical decisions by minors, if your parents want you to for example not get vaccinations, it ignores your best interests as a teen looking for opportunity in their future. And if for you an opportunity would be joining the military, then there should be some way to get info on this opportunity through programs at school.
