There is no reason for an ordinary American to own an assault weapon or magazines with more than 10 rounds. It may be people rather than guns that kill people, but it makes no sense to put weapons of war that are designed for nothing but killing people in the hands of people who might one day pick it up and go on a rampage. The guy in Dayton, Ohio, fired at least 41 rounds in about 30 seconds. Most of those rounds hit someone. These weapons should be banned and taken off the streets through a buy back program. This may not be popular with Republicans such as yourselves, but it is definitely popular among the majority of Americans. Please think of the people of Tennessee when voting. Protect us from these weapons.
